Meerut jail inmate injured in clash dies

One more inmate who was critically injured in the clash in Meerut jail on April 19 died in hospital. Somveer was lodged in jail since March 19 on the charge of attempt to murder

One more inmate who was critically injured in the clash in Meerut jail on April 19 died in hospital Tuesday. Somveer was lodged in jail since March 19 on the charge of attempt to murder.

Four-five inmates are still admitted in the hospital, said Jail Superintendent S H M Rizvi. Over 100 persons were injured.
