Masoor,its dal declines on subdued demand

Traders said adequate stocks position against subdued demand mainly kept pressure on masoor and its dal prices.

Masoor and its dal prices declined in the the wholesale pulses market today due to subdued demand.

Elsewhere,other pulses moved range-bound and settled around previous levels.

In the national capital,masoor small and bold declined by Rs 50 each to Rs 3,000-3,300 and Rs 3,100-3,350,respectively. Its dal best quality traded lower by the same margin to Rs 3,800-4,000 per quintal.

The following are today8217;s pulses quotations in rupees per quintal:

Urad 3,200-3,700,Urad Chilka local 4,200-4,500,best 4,600-5,100,Dhoya 5,100-5,200; Moong 3,500-4,500,Dal Moong Chilka local 4,200-4,600; Moong Dhoya local 4,700-4,800 and best quality 5,400-5,600.

Masoor small 3,000-3,300,bold 3,100-3,350,Dal Masoor local 3,700-3,800,best quality 3,800-4,000,Malka local 3,800-3,850,best 4,050-4,150,Moth 1,700-2,000; Arhar 3,450-3,750,Dal Arhar Dara 4,900-5,100.
