Mapping education reforms

With HRD Minister Kapil Sibal talking reforms,big names are now pitching in with their suggestions on setting the education sector in order. While NKC Chairman Sam Pitroda is learnt to have suggested that the proposed legislation for creation of an overarching authority for higher education should not be over centralised and go into specifics,eminent architect Charles Correa is said to have apprised the ministry and the PMO about the rot and corruption ailing the Council of Architecture CoA. Sibal has already written to the CBI asking them to probe the allegations against CoA top brass.
