Referring to the complaints lodged by the Railway authorities in Rajdhani Express hijack case,the CM said it was clear why they could not name the miscreants in the complaint. In the Railways complaint they referred to the attackers as unknown miscreants,but in a separate complaint the CRPF named five-six people, he said at a party rally in the city on Friday. Why the TMC could not criticise the Rajdhani Express incident?8230; Still they are trying to shield the Maoists.

Talking about the rapid expansion of Maoist activities in the state,Bhattacharjee said if the state did not share a border with Jharkhand,the menace could not have flourished. The killers and explosives were coming from Jharkhand,he alleged in a reference to the agitation of PCAPAs Chhatradhar Mahato. Who are in Chhatradhars team? They are backed by deadly Maoists. But the Opposition has supported them. TMC leaders went to Lalgarh to address their rally, he added.

The CM said the Trinamool Congress and the Maoists staged a violent agitation in Nandigram which was very unfortunate.

The CPM has already decided to meet Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to lodge a complaint against Mamatas links with Maoists. The party on Friday called its cadres to campaign across the state against the dangerous combine.

CPM state secretary Biman Bose alleged that the Maoists were meeting the TMC leaders at midnight. Referring to Mamatas reported meeting at a Salt Lake residence of an intellectual,Bose said,They cannot meet in daylight. So the TMC supreme leader met with her special guest at midnight.


Maoists kill three in Bastar

Raipur: Maoists rebels raided a village and killed three civilians,besides pasting posters at many places,warning people not to use village roads from dusk till dawn to avoid being hit by landmines and pressure bombs in South Bastar region of Chhattisgarh. Police said Maoists have also been mounting pressure on villagers to force the youth,including young girls,to join their dalams. ENS
