LU to increase 20 seats in BA and Bcom

The Lucknow University authorities have decided to increase 20 per cent seats in B.A. and B.Com courses and 10 per cent in B.Sc in all its affiliated colleges,officials said.

The decision was taken at a meeting of Admission Committee in Lucknow on Wednesday,they said,adding that the increase in seats would help those who failed to secure admission in the University. Such students could now apply in affiliated colleges to secure admission.

The Committee also decided to complete all the admission formalities of post graduate courses by Aug 20 and close Ph.D admissions by August 30.
