2 Afghan cops die,NATO chopper crashes

KABUL: Militants ambushed an Afghan police vehicle,killing two on Saturday and a coalition helicopter crashed in eastern Afghanistan with no fatalities,NATO and Afghan officials said. The Afghan Interior Ministry said insurgents attacked the policemen in Dara Nur district in the northern tip of Nangarhar province. The coalition helicopter,was shot down by insurgents Saturday morning in Alasay district,Kapisa province.

4 of family killed in US plane crash

New York: Four members of a family were killed when a small plane crashed in Kansas state in the US,according to a media report. The plane went down in a field near Kansas Highway 4 and 47th Street,near Philip Billard Airport,late on Friday,the KSN.com reported,citing the Federal Aviation Administration. A family from Scott City was on the plane and they were reportedly going on a trip for Easter.

Bullet removed from head after 23 yrs

London: Doctors have surgically removed a two-cm rusted bullet,embedded in the head of a Chinese farmer for 23 years,the media here reported. In 1988,Wang Tianqing,from Zhangjiakouin city in northern China,was knocked unconscious on his way home by a blow to the head,The Telegraph reported. He started having epileptic seizures over the next two decades. Recently,the bullet was spotted during his CAT scan.
