Khurshid to lunch with Pak PM,but no talks

Foreign Minister Salman Khurshid will host Pakistan Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf for lunch in Jaipur Saturday but there will be no substantive discussions.

Khurshid will host a lunch for him in Jaipur following which the Pakistan PM will depart for Ajmer. He is not visiting New Delhi and no substantive discussions are scheduled, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin said.

Ashraf,who is on a private visit will visit the Ajmer Dargah,return to Jaipur in the evening and fly to Islamabad.

Did India propose a meeting with Ashraf in Delhi? He desired to undertake a private visit,Akbaruddin said,and all requirements to meet his needs are met.
