Khalid died of some illness,says Akhilesh

Reacting over the death of terror accused Khalid Mujahid in police custody,Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Monday said the death,as per reports till now,appeared to have occurred due to some illness. Akhilesh however stressed that a CBI probe has been recommended in the incident while the state government is also conducting its own probe. He reiterated that law and order situation in the state is good. He was speaking to reporters in Siddharthnagar.

The facts which have surfaced so far reflect that his death has been shown due to some illness. We are conducting a probe in the whole incident to clear the air. On the demand of his family members,even a CBI probe has been recommended in the incident, Akhilesh said. Akhilesh had gone there to attend the marriage of Samajwadi Party MLA Lalmunni Singhs daughter. Assembly Speaker Mata Prasad Pandey was also present on the occasion.
