For Kavya Madhavan,this is sort of second stint in cinema. The actress,hailing from Neeleshwaram in Kasargode district of Kerala,began as a child artist and then with the passage of years matured into a heroine.
Beginning her stint as heroine with the Lal Jose directed Chandranudikkunna Dikkil,Kavya rose to be one among the top Malayalam heroines. She acted in many blockbusters and starred with all the top actors and actresses.
With Kavya getting married to Nishal,who began as a child artiste in films and was aspiring to re-launch himself in good roles,everyone thought that Kavya too would settle down to a family life,like many of her predecessors. But very soon Kavya found herself on the brink of separation and divorce.
And now Kavya is back,doing films one after the other. She did Paappi Appacha and has also done Christian Brothers,which is awaiting release. She has also got some interesting projects coming up. She has started work for Bhakthajanangalude Shradhaykku,directed by Priyanandanan,who has won national acclaim with his films, She is also set to play the title role in Gaddama,a film directed by Kamal and based on life of Malayalees working in the Gulf. Sreenivasan is her co-star in the film,that will be scripted by K.Gireesh Kumar.
