Just a photo session: BJP

Referring to the mid-night police action against Baba Ramdevs supporters at Ramlila grounds,BJP spokesperson Rajiv Pratap Rudy sought to know why he was silent and did not exhibit any compassion when women and children were brutally beaten up.

How can there be two standards on compassion from a senior leader like him, Rudy asked.

Former BJP president Rajnath Singh termed Rahuls visit to Bhatta-Parsaul a political stunt while senior leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi called it a Rahul Gandhi political promotional programme. Instead of doing photo sessions,he should use his good offices to get the UPA government introduce and pass the Land Acquisition Bill, Naqvi said.
