JDU defends Bansal

While the BJP went hammer and tongs against Bansal,JDU chief Sharad Yadav defended him,embarrassing its NDA ally. Sharad said a leader cannot be held responsible if his relatives are involved in corruption. Ive known Bansal for long. What has he to do with anything if his nephew is taking bribe, Yadav said. Asked if Bansal must resign,Sharad replied,How do you plan to run this country then. He said that as a political leader Bansal meets many people and cannot possibly check credentials of everyone.
