Jaiprakash Power Q1 net up 163%

Jaiprakash Power Ventures posted nearly two-fold jump in net profit at Rs 182.96 crore in three months ended June,on the back of higher revenues. In the year-ago period,the company had a net profit of Rs 69.56 crore. The company has an operating hydro capacity of 1,700 MW and is implementing around 2,570 MW thermal capacity.
