IIT Roorkee professor found dead at home

A senior professor at the Electronic and Communication Department of IIT,Roorkee was found dead at his on-campus residence on Wednesday. Gupta,who lived alone since his wife’s death few years ago,was found with cut marks on his throat and arm. The police recovered a surgical blade from the scene. The professor’s daughter has lodged a murder case against unidentified criminals.
