Hyderabad cops sitting on CCTV file

The Hyderabad police have been sitting over funds allocated to them for buying these cameras. Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi had sanctioned Rs 40 lakh to the police from his MPLAD Funds to buy CCTV cameras,which were to be installed at sensitive locations. The police have,however,not acted on it. For over two months,the file has been gathering dust as the police authorities have shown no eagerness to float the tender to buy the equipment, said Owaisi.
