Gram and its dal prices strengthened by Rs 50 per quintal in an otherwise steady wholesale pulses market today on rising demand against limited arrivals from producing regions.
Traders said rising demand against restricted arrivals from from producing region mainly helped gram and its dal prices to strengthen.
In the national capital,gram and its dal local and best quality were advanced by Rs 50 each to Rs 3,800-3,850,Rs 4,250-4,350 and Rs 4,400-4,500 per quintal,respectively. Besin Shaktibhog and Rajdhani followed suit and traded shot up by Rs 100 each to Rs 1,730 each per 35 kg bag,respectively.
