Govt corrects answer on Chawla panel report

The government,in pursuance to an assurance given to the Supreme Court,today corrected the answer given in the Rajya Sabha to a question with regard to the recommendations of the Ashok Chawla Committee on Allocation of Natural Resources CANR.

According to the corrected version,the GoM,and not the government as said earlier,has accepted 69 recommendations of the CANR,including three with some modifications.
