Good opportunity for EcoBoost engine: Ford

He said the technology is 8220;ideal8221; for small displacement engines and will provide 8220;exceptional fuel economy and great performance at the same time.

In the future,ecoboost could be a great technology for India,8221; he added.

Terming India as a 8220;very important and one of the largest growing markets in the world,8221; he said Ford will continue to expand its portfolio in the country.

The firm is 8220;pleased and excited8221; about launching 8216;Figo8217;,its first small car for the Indian market,he added.

8220;Figo fits right in the Indian market in terms of its affordability,8221; he said.

Ford8217;s EcoBoost engine technology,featuring turbo charging with direct injection,was introduced a year ago.
