Garg gets bail in railway bribery case

A Delhi court on Monday granted bail to Ajay Garg,accused of fixing a favourable post for Mahesh Kumar

A Delhi court on Monday granted bail to Ajay Garg,accused of fixing a favourable post for Mahesh Kumar,the then Member Staff of Railway Board,in the Rs 10 crore railway bribery case. The court reserved its order for the bail pleas filed by the other accused Vijay Singla,Mahesh Kumar,Narayan Rao Manjunath and Sandeep Goel for Tuesday.

Special CBI Judge Swarana Kanta Sharma granted bail to Garg on the ground that it was not clear whether he would have benefited in case Mahesh Kumar would have got the posting of his choice.
