Vidya Balan is all geared up for her most ambitious film The Dirty Picture. The actor says that though she did not do any kind of research for the film,she had watched Silk Smithas song Oh babua in the Kamal Haasan-Sridevi Sadma several times.

As for preparing for the role,the brief by director Milan Luthria was simple Vidya just had to be bindaas. Initially, she did not understand what he meant but after several readings of the script,the actress understood that she had to be completely fearless. Vidya decided to shed her inhibitions and enjoyed exploring the fun side of her personality.

Over protective

No one expected the heavily pregnant Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to turn up at Abu Jani-Sandeep Khoslas 25 year celebration at China House in Grand Hyatt in Mumbai,but the light-eyed beauty did come to wish the Bachchan familys favourite designers. Once there, both Jaya Bachchan and Abhishek were extremely protective of her. They ensured that she didnt move around too much and was comfortable in her seat. Abhishek often ventured out to greet acquaintances while Jaya played the doting mother-in-law and was seen fussing over Aishwarya throughout the event. The bahu seemed to enjoy all the attention.

No regrets

He is on cloud nine after his impressive performance in Rockstar. But Ranbir Kapoor has his feet firmly on the ground. During a recent interview,the actor was asked about his equation with Sanjay Leela Bhansali who gave him his big break in Saawariya. Ranbir said that he would love to work with SLB whenever he got an opportunity and stated that the two shared a very good rapport.

The handsome actor also believes in letting bygones be bygones and prefers to look ahead. Few people know that Aamir Khan had initially approached the Kapoor scion for a role in Delhi Belly. But the actor had refused the offer and eventually the role went to Imran Khan. When asked if he regretted not doing the film,Ranbir said that the movie was not in his destiny. Aamir has always encouraged me. So if he comes to me next time with a film,I shall definitely do it, he promises.

Arjun Rampal recently celebrated the success of RA.One with the children of Smile Foundation. He even extended his support to the NGO for the education of 50 underprivileged kids,as a special Childrens Day gift.

The actor was happy to have spent some quality time with the tiny tots and shared some of his memories of Childrens Day celebrations. He also shared with them special scenes from RA.One,which the kids enjoyed thoroughly.

When one of the kids asked him about his own children,he said that his younger daughter Myra is waiting for the tooth fairy. Since it was taking some time for her teeth to fall off,she wrapped a small piece of paper and put it under her pillow so that the tooth fairy will visit her while she sleeps and leave a gift.
