Commodity market regulator Forward Markets Commission FMC has given more time till January 17 to Mumbai-based chartered accountants Chokshi and Chokshi for completing the forensic audit of the crisis-hit National Spot Exchange Ltds NSEL e-series contracts.
Chokshi and Chokshi,which was given December-end deadline to complete the audit of e-series contracts at NSEL,had sought extension to finish the work.
Based on your request,it is decided by the Commission to grant extension of time up to January 17,2014 to complete the work of forensic audit of e-series contracts at NSEL, FMCsaid in a letter to the audit firm.
