FINCOM GETS A PERMANENT ADDRESS

It may be over five months since it was set up,but it is only now that the Fourteenth Finance Commission seems to have found a permanent address.

It may be over five months since it was set up,but it is only now that the Fourteenth Finance Commission seems to have found a permanent address. The high-powered panel,which is led by former RBI governor YV Reddy is understood to have moved into an office space in the Capitals Qutub Institutional Area after working through a temporary space earlier.

A SECURITY AUDIT OVERDONE

Total chaos erupted when Shashi Kant Sharma took over as the new Comptroller and Auditor General of India. Even as a photo session was organised for the new CAG,curious staffers gathered around to have a look at their new boss. To control the crowd,overtly enthusiastic security personnel guarding Sharmas office decided to block the lifts and insisted that all visitors must use the stairs to leave the fifth floor office. It was only after intervention that one of the lifts was finally opened for use.
