A day after the government cleared the real estate regulator bill,a colleague rang up two of the big four consultancies to elicit their views. After several calls both firms acknowledged they had not seen the bill and had little to offer as comments. Didnt their clients know about the bill? Apparently the government had been able to keep the news about the bill finally making it to the Cabinet as every other time the government tried,the consultants had on some pretext or the other shot down the passage.

Digital migrants hangout google

GoogleHangout is becoming a rather sought after medium by ministers to invade the virtual world. Finance minister P Chidambaram started it and others like Planning Commission deputy chairman followed. On Thursday Milind Deora became the first Gen-Next politico to hangout on Google. But his prepared script had participators logging off fast. More so because the minister even typed prepared questions which was a put off. Looks like the new generation needs to learn a lesson or two from the oldies.
