Movie distributor Eros International Media debuted at a premium of 23 per cent from its issue price of Rs 175 per share on the BSE on Wednesday.
The Indian unit of Eros International Plc,raised Rs 3.5 billion via initial public offering and plans to use the proceeds of the offering to acquire and co-produce Hindi and other regional films.
At 09:02 a.m,shares had eased to Rs 195.95,still up 12 per cent,while the benchmark stock market index was up 1.2 per cent.
