THE MISSING NAME
A CONTROVERSY is brewing over the absence of former Forward Bloc MP Amar Roy Pradhans name in the obituary references made by Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar on the first day of Monsoon session on Monday. The eight-term MP passed away on July 3. Forward Bloc has decided to take it up with the concerned authorities. Buzz is that the TMC-led West Bengal government did not formally convey the news of Pradhans demise to Parliament.
