Dr Reddys gets USFDA nod
New Delhi: Drug firm Dr Reddys Laboratories on Saturday said it has received approval from US health regulator to launch generic Zafirlukast tablets,used for treating asthma,in the American market. The approval by the US Food and Drug Administration USFDA for its abbreviated new drug application ANDA for Zafirlukast tablets follows a favourable court judgment in the patent infringement case filed against it by patent holder Astra Zeneca.
Exim Bank offers credit to Kenya
MUMBAI: Export-Import Bank of India Exim Bank has extended a Line of Credit LOC of 61.60 million for financing power transmission lines in Kenya. The LOC agreement to this effect was signed in New Delhi recently. Exim Bank will reimburse 100 of contract value to the Indian exporters,upfront upon the shipment of goods. The LOC will be used for financing at least 75 of total contract value through sourcing of goods and services from India.
US Comm Dept plans India trip
Washington: US Commerce Department will take a high-level trade delegation to India in early February next year. Were actually following up with another trade mission in early February,focusing on technology,high-technology goods from medical equipment to energy,helping American companies sell more to India, US Commerce Secretary Gary Locke said.
