Congman earns his stripes

Confident of the Congresss resurgence in Uttar Pradesh,partymen are taking the battle into enemy camp. This was evident at a function organised by Mulayam Singh Yadavs supporters as part of the Lohia birth centenary celebrations in the Capital. With Mulayam himself absent,Satya Prakash Malviya,apparently the lone Congressman at the function,used the chance to further the cause of the Womens Reservation Bill at the gathering of socialists. He also had handouts with quotes from Lohia ready for participants.
