More than 450 men and women were recruited into the CISF on Saturday with Union Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde presiding over the passing out parade of the new recruits at the National Industrial Security Academy NISA in Hyderabad,run by the Central Industrial Security Force.
The maximum number of new recruits came from Uttar Pradesh,followed by Bihar and Rajasthan. A considerable number of law graduates and postgraduates were among those who joined the force as assistant commandants and sub-inspectors. The list included 21 women personnel. Shinde also released Access Control,a monograph by CISFs Research amp; Development Cell located at NISA.
