Chouhan allocates portfolios,Gaur gets Home

Gaurishankar Bisen has been allocated Agriculture Ministry and Gopal Bhargava has retained Panchayat and Rural Development Ministry.

Octogenarian legislator Babulal Gaur is the new Home Minister and Jayant Malaiyya the new Finance Minister of Madhya Pradesh. CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan Monday allocated portfolios to his newly inducted ministers. The new ministry looks drastically different from his previous team because 14 of his colleagues have not made it this time. Also,barring a couple of exceptions,portfolios of the remaining have been completely changed.

Yashodhara Raje Scindia,who once held tourism and sports portfolios,was given Industry and Commerce along with sports and youth welfare.

Rajya Sabha MP Maya Singh was given Women and Child Development Ministry.

Former home minister Umashankar Gupta is the new higher and technical education minister while Kailash Vijayvargiya,who held the industry portfolio,the new Urban Development Minister.

Gaurishankar Bisen has been allocated Agriculture Ministry and Gopal Bhargava has retained Panchayat and Rural Development Ministry.

Gaurishankar Shejwar is the new Forest Minster and Narottam Mishra has been given Health in addition to Legislative Affairs.

Rajendra Shukla retains the mining and energy portfolios and has been given charge of Public Relations.
