Central varsity in Rajasthan gets campus

Rajasthans first Central university will witness its foundation laying ceremony on Tuesday in the presence of Union HRD Minister Kapil Sibal,and authorities of the institution are expected to use the occasion to press for their demand for a medical college. The university,established in 2009,has been functioning from a temporary campus at Kishangarh,about 100 km from here,but with the ongoing construction at Bandar Sindri,80 km from here,the officials said that they would start shifting to the main campus in a phased manner by August. Sibal,along with Minister of State for Communications and IT Sachin Pilot,in whose constituency the university lies,will attend the ceremony along with Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and some other leading members of his Cabinet.
