Cabinet reshuffle: Big four could keep their jobs

It has been speculated that new faces in the ministry may include both senior leaders like Janardan Dwivedi and Rahman Khan,and younger faces like Manish Tewari.

Congress MPs from West Bengal might gain from the Trinamool Congresss exit following Mamata Banerjees walkout and Pranab Mukherjees elevation as President,the state is currently unrepresented in the ministry.

Thursdays UPA coordination committee meeting is expected to make an attempt to formulate the coordinated response of the ruling alliance to the economic challenges before the country.

The committee was constituted last month to ensure cohesive functioning of the UPA after the NCP complained of a lack of coordination in the ruling alliance.

The meeting will be the first since Trinamools pullout last week.
