The Bombay Stock Exchange on Tuesday revamped its website making it more investor-friendly,with addition of a wide range of features,including live streaming quotes for Sensex scrips and advanced stock search.
The new website presents a wide range of features like live streaming quotes for Sensex companies,advanced stock reach,Sensex view,market galaxy,and members,the BSE said in a statement.
The new-look BSE website is part of the ongoing enhancements at the bourse.
Minister for Corporate Affairs Salman Khurshid on Tuesday inaugurated the new BSE website.
With 8216;live streaming quotes for Sensex companies8217; one can view on a real-time basis,best bid and ask for quotes and stock price movements for each of the scrips in the 30-share Sensex.
8220;Our new website is part of many initiatives at the BSE.
The website is an integral part of information dissemination and educating the investors and our new website ensures a much faster information access for the investor community,8221; BSE MD and CEO Madhu Kannan said.
Further,advanced stock reach is an encyclopedia of corporate information,whereas 8216;Sensex view8217; illustrates pictorially the best and worst performers in the Sensex.
