BS Transcomm debuts 22 pct higher

BS Transcomm witnessed a firm listing and jumped 22.45 pct to Rs 303.70 on NSE.

BS Transcomm,which provides towerssto telcos and power transmission firms,witnessed a firm listing and jumped 22.45 per cent to an early high of Rs 303.70 on NSE.

Before the leap,the scrip had opened 3.62 per cent higher at the National Stock Exchange over its issue price of Rs 248.

The scrip saw a smart movement within the minutes of trade,and jumped 22.45 per cent to an early high of Rs 303.70 on NSE.

To fund its expansion plans,the company has raised about Rs 197 crore through its initial public offer,priced in the range of Rs 248-Rs 257 per share.

BS Transcomm is engaged in the manufacture and supply of telecommunication and transmission towers,sub-station structures. It also provides service solutions to the telecom infrastructure and power transmission firms.

The company supplies towers to entities such as Reliance Infratel,Wireless,TT Info Services,Indus Towers and Power Grid,among others.
