Glenmark recalls batch of drug in US
NEW DELHI: Glenmark Pharmaceuticals on Saturday said it has issued a voluntary nationwide recall in the US for seven lots of its oral contraceptive Norgestimate and Ethinyl Estradiol tablets due to a packaging error. As a result of the error the daily regimen for these oral contraceptives could leave women consumers in US at risk for unintended pregnancy,the company said.
Tata Steel gets land for plant in Haveri
KOLKATA: The Karnataka government has completed land acquisition for Tata Steel and Tata Metaliks integrated project at Haveri district,an official of the company said on Saturday. The entire land was acquired by the government and the company would give compensation to landowners when asked,an official said.
SBI non-committal on Kingfisher plans
Tiruchirapalli: State Bank of India chairman Pratip Chaudhuri on Saturday remained non-committal on the plans for the Kingfisher Airlines and dismissed reports about a Rs 1,500 crore assistance as mischevious.
