Mumbai: The BSE Sensex closed above the 17,000 mark after nearly a month,gaining 202.19 points at 17,065,on all-round buying led by RIL amid strong overseas markets. The NSE 50-issue Nifty also improved by 60.35 points to end at 5,124.65.
