BCCI chiefs son held for brawl,gets bail

The Bandra police on Thursday said they had sought CCTV footage of restaurant-pub Escobar in Bandra after BCCI president N Srinivasans son Ashwin 40 was arrested on Monday night for allegedly getting into a brawl with its staff and punching a police constable.

Ashwin was released on a bail of Rs 15,000 later on Tuesday.

Police officers probing the case said the footage will be seen to ascertain who started the brawl. Statements of waiters and the manager of the establishment will also be recorded,said the police.
