To resolve the deadlock in the implementation of the Ground Handling Policy,the civil aviation ministry has formed a committee to come out with detailed guidelines on the policy after consultation with airlines.
A committee headed by the joint secretary in the ministry of civil aviation Alok Sinha will be constituted which will draw detailed guidelines on ground handling after consultation with airlines, said a ministry release. Civil aviation minister Ajit Singh also met airline representatives on the issue.
