The Kodaly Quartet from Budapest,one of the leading string quartets in the world,has made over 50 recordings in a career spanning over four decades. Their monumental undertaking of the complete quartet cycles of Haydn,Beethoven and Schubert for Naxos has beaten many records. The NCPA had invited the Kodaly Quartet to continue with the Beethoven String Quartet cycle which was started in November 2009 by Quatuor Ebene.The Beethoven: Quartet Op. 18 No. 4 in C minor,Schubert: Quartet No. 10 in E flat major D 87,Beethoven: Quartet Op. 59 No 3 in C major ,Beethoven: String Quartet in A major Op. 18 no 5,Schubert: Quartettsatz in C minor D 703 and Beethoven: Quartet Op. 130 in B flat major were presented. Penned by Rakesh Singh,it was set to tune by Devendra Rathod. The film is produced by Sarvesh Saini,who is also the male lead opposite a new heroine who is yet to be finalised. It co-stars Raza Murad,Mushtaque Khan,Kishore Bhanushaali and new find Manu Diwedi along with Mukesh Rishi and Tinaa Ghaai. Directed by Rajan Lyallppuri,the film has a script by Salim Hyder,cinematography by Heera Saroj,sound by Kiran Panchal,dances by Saroj Khan and editing by Ashok Shrivastava. Javed Sheikh is the co-producer of the film. Regular shooting of the film will begin in May.
