Anna gets nod for fast in Mumbai

Meanwhile,Delhi Police are examining feasibility report to allow him to stage a protest at Ramlila Maidan.

While Anna Hazare has been granted permission by the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority to use its ground in Bandra-Kurla complex from December 27,the Delhi Police are examining the feasibility report to allow him to stage a protest at the Ramlila Maidan.

In a written reply to the Delhi Police,Team Anna has said they are not aware about the number of VVIPs who will come to meet the social activist.

They have said that no one except Hazare will sit on the dais. When we asked them about the car parking of VVIPs they could not specify anything. said a police officer.

The officer further added that the reply does not say anything about the number of persons who will address the gathering.

Team Anna has said the fast could move to Mumbai if the winter in Delhi gets too harsh for the campaign.

The protest will be held for 15 days instead of one month as was originally planned.
