A relative had hid the suicide note, say police

The police took three days to find Ilavarasans suicide note after he was found dead on railway track last Thursday. The SIT of Dharmapuri police said the letter was concealed by a relative who took it from the spot. The identity and the motive of the person is not clear yet but the police are citing the note to point out that it was a suicide.

DSP Asra Garg said the four-page note, in Tamil, said he took the decision on his own and that no one was responsible. The handwriting matches with that of Ilavarasan but it would be sent for forensic examination.

The note has two parts: one addressed to his wife Divya and other to his family. Addressing Divya,he recalled their love, her fathers suicide after their marriage, and how he has been haunted by her memories after they separated. In a society divided by castes, his last wish seems to be a reasonable one: At least in the next life,I hope,we both will be born into the same caste.
