Six MLAs of the principal opposition party in Tamil Nadu DMDK were suspended from the Assembly for a year by the Speaker

Six MLAs of the principal opposition party in Tamil Nadu DMDK were suspended from the Assembly for a year by the Speaker on Monday,after they were found guilty of attacking a dissident inside the House on February 8. Those who faced the action were party whip V C Chandrakumar,D Murugesan,K Nallathambi,S Senthil Kumar,R Arulselvan and B Parthasarathy.
