2G case: CBI moves SC for revoking Chandras bail

The CBI has moved the Supreme Court seeking cancellation of bail of Sanjay Chandra,MD of Unitech Ltd,who is an accused in the 2G spectrum

The CBI has moved the Supreme Court seeking cancellation of bail of Sanjay Chandra,MD of Unitech Ltd,who is an accused in the 2G spectrum allocation case,alleging he tried to sabotage the trial. Seeking to recall courts November 2011 order by which he was granted the relief,the agency alleged that Chandra misused the relief given to him and has violated the terms and conditions of bail. CBI alleged that the conduct of Chandra was questionable during the bail period as he had approached prosecutor AK Singh and was found discussing crucial witnesses.

His conversation with the prosecutor who was removed from the case reflected that the entire strategy of the CBI in dealing with the case was compromised,it said.
