At the AICC headquarters,which is right next to 10 Janpath,Congressmen are always wary of the proverbial walls that can hear. Here is an AICC secretary whose very sight makes even senior Congress leaders,including general secretaries,fall silent. He is a retired Army officer and his party colleagues believe he is the eyes and ears of 10 Janpath at 24,Akbar Road. He enters any leaders room at any time without any hesitation or qualms. One of the general secretaries once took a swipe at him that he also has to report. Apparently,the man with the indomitable patience wasnt ruffled. The AICC headquarters are now abuzz about his role in the gagging of media cell chairperson Veerappa Moily.
