We will continue to fight communal forces: Cong

Cong would investigate the party's debacle in the Gujarat assembly election, says IB Minister PR Dasmunshi.

Congress would investigate the reasons behind the party8217;s debacle in the Gujarat assembly election, senior party leader and Information and Broadcasting

Minister Priya Ranjan Dasmunshi said in Malda on Monday.

8220;We did not expect this result after the huge gatherings at election rallies in Gujarat. A meeting of party leaders will be held in Delhi today,8221; Dasmunshi said.

The Union minister said the party would continue to fight communal forces despite the drubbing in Gujarat.

Speaking about next year8217;s panchayat polls in West Bengal, he said the people would give the CPM a befitting reply for the violence in Nandigram.
