We had forewarned Karnataka Govt, says Centre

The Centre had forewarned the Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh governments that terrorists could target Bangalore and Hyderabad, Minister of State for Home Sriprakash Jaiswal said.

8220;The Intelligence Bureau had received inputs that terrorists could target the cyber cities of Hyderabad and Bangalore. Both the state governments were told to be on high alert,8221; he said.

Jaiswal said the main aim of the serial blasts in Bangalore was to 8216;spread terror8217;.

The Centre is in touch with the state government and ready to offer all possible help, he said.
