CHANDIGARH, Nov 29: Vineet Jain's incredible knock of 174 kick-started the tenth Champions Trophy cricket tournament here at the PGI ground today. With a century coming from teammate Rakesh Jolly's blade (106) as well, Godrej Club amassed an unbelievable 316 for 3 in 35 overs. The result was never going to be in doubt and Vinod Thakur's five-wicket haul helped Godrej Club carve out a 221-run win over Shine Star Club.There were fours and sixes galore once Godrej skipper Girish Bhanot decided to bat after winning the toss. Jain and Jolly set about the task of sending the rival bowlers on a leather-hunt. Jain, who completed his ton off 68 balls, hit seven sixes and 18 fours in his punishing-effort.
