Veteran journalist D Anjaneyalu dead

CHENNAI, Dec 27: D Anjaneyalu, veteran journalist, columnist and former New Editor in Chennai Doordarshan, died here on Sunday aftera brief illness. He ws 75. Hailing from Guntir district of Andhra Pradesh, he started his career as a sub-editor int he Indian Express in 1948. He later worked in The Hindu between 1953 and 1958 before moving to All India Radio as the editor-in-charge of a Telugu programme.
