CHENNAI, Apr. 19: Ganeshraj 19, a vendor in the Flower Bazaar area tried to immolate himself in protest of the Chennai Corporation8217;s move to demolish the fruit and flower market in the area. He was arrested by Law College police. A total of 254 shops were demolished and demolition work in the 75-year-old building will also begin shortly.
