CHANDIGARH, MARCH 4: The enforcement wing of the Municipal Corporation of Chandigarh today removed vegetable pharis on road sides in the City today.
A senior Municipal Corporation official, when contacted, said it was a routine drive.
There was a glut of vegetables in the Sector 26 Grain Market and vendors had selected roads to sell the vegetables without paying the ground rent fixed by the Corporation, he said.
