Chennai, May 8: The chief metropolitan magistrate today posted to June 26 further hearing in the defamation suit filed by former chief minister Jayalalitha against Tamil Nadu Health Minister Arcot Veerasamy for allegedly saying that AIADMK partymen were behind the attack on a former state chief secretary in August 1996.

DMK partymen including former Union Minister T R Baalu were present when Veerasamy appeared in the court.
