VADODARA, April 19: What do you usually find in an art exhibition? Exquisite pieces of art hanging on clean-plastered walls, which you appreciate one by one. Now here comes one art exhibition without the usual trappings.

Ms Joerdis Kunert from Berlin, a second year student of Faculty of Fine Arts will for four hours beginning 7 p.m. on Tuesday, hold an exhibition at a construction site. All the workers and paraphernalia 8212; bricks, cement heaps, wooden logs, iron rods, et al will remain as they are 8212; scattered.

At the under-construction Samrajya complex in Munj Mahuda, enlarged finger prints of the workers painted on transparent plastic paper will be exhibited.

On the fine lines of the workers8217; finger-prints will be their minutely scripted life stories. And the exhibits will be backed up by illumination. In another room, typewritten versions of the stories will be exhibited.
